How to Find Time to Post On Social Media- 2025

When you're a busy entrepreneur, the last thing you may not want to do is post on social media to market your business. The even more difficult part about posting is not only finding the time but also knowing what to post, which can take more time.

I want to share with you how you can find more time to post on social media.

As a housewife and a homeschool mom of six (including a twin toddlers), my time is precious! At one time, I also worked part-time outside of the home. People often tell me that they don't know how I'm able to do it all. Sometimes, I don't know either.

If I can make time, I'm sure you can too.

I highly encourage you to have a routine. If you have to write it down, do that. You should give yourself 15 minutes per day for at least five days per week to focus on posting. Let's call it the 5-15.

That's five days per week, 15 minutes on one platform where you will post. Now, you can also take this time and crunch it all into one day, too.

Another option is to put all your content together and post it into a scheduling tool like Later, Hootsuite, or Buffer.

Sometimes, my schedule gets a little erratic because - kids and life! But, ideally, you should focus on a set routine. If you are focused on giving yourself this time to create and post your content, it will become normal for you, and you will find yourself posting more consistently.

If your audience only sees you posting once a week or once a month, they might think your business is inactive. They also might forget about you.

Don't let that happen! The last thing you want to do is spend more time recovering from being off of your platform for too long.

If you're always trying to post on the fly, then you're going to feel overwhelmed! You might also forget, or you may lose focus on what you're currently working on.

Set aside the time to post. Put away all distractions and hone-in on your posts. It will make life easier for you in the long run, and it will ensure that your audience is seeing your posts all the time.
